SHOWERS THIS MORNING MAY TRANSITION OVER TO THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND SOME POSSIBILITY THAT A SQUALL LINE OF STORMS COULD MOVE INTO THE BAYS AND NEARSHORE WATER LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING. SEAS WILL BE BUILDING THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND MODERATE TO STRONG SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY BEFORE GRADUALLY RELAXING. DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS AND SURF CONDITIONS SHOULD PREVAIL THROUGH THIS EVENING. ABOVE NORMAL TIDES COMBINED WITH SWELLS MAY LEAD TO MINOR FLOODING ON THE GULF FACING BEACHES OF THE BOLIVAR PENINSULA THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY. A PATTERN OF EARLY MORNING THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON OF SHOWERS OR A THUNDERSTORM EACH DAY SHOULD CONTINUE THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.”
