NWS Outlook : “PERIODS OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF TODAY AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES EASTWARD ACROSS THE STATE. SOME STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG OR SEVERE WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR GENERATING HAIL… DAMAGING WINDS… AND WATERSPOUTS. WINDS AND WAVES ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH THIS AFTERNOON. A STRONG COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE OFF THE COAST EARLY THURSDAY MORNING WITH STRONG NORTH WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS DEVELOPING IN ITS WAKE.”
