NWS Outlook : “LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS TONIGHT ARE BECOMING MORE SOUTHWESTERLY SATURDAY ALONG WITH PATCHY FOG AHEAD OF A STRONG PACIFIC COLD FRONT. THAT FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS AND VERY ROUGH SEAS AND BAY WATERS CAN BE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BEHIND THE COLD FRONT…AND THE GALE WATCH HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A GALE WARNING. LOOK FOR WINDS AND SEAS TO GRADUALLY COME DOWN SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY.”
