Team Surf Specialties won not only this contest but the State Championships as well, in 1988. This was before what is now the TGSA...it was then called the TSA. We even had another association called the GSA. Competitive surfing was huge back then, with surf shops having multiple teams at one time. We had 3 6-man teams!

An almost perfect contest t-shirt from an era of huge amounts of surf teams and an even more huge amount of surfing talent. It was in part due to how well the board designs in that period performed.

12 x 20 x 15 x 2 1/2...magic! Long before the dreaded "Liters" era.
